Description:

Two pieces of sterling silver tableware from the reign of Wilhelm II, informal pattern and both bearing his cipher on the handle. The knife is 10" long, the four-tined fork 8 1/2" long, both hallmarked: "HF" and "90" for purity. Both have a beaded design that reduces in size to a straight, engraved line. Very good. Also present is a silver commemorative medallion, 1 3/4" dia., displaying high-relief profile portraits of Wilhelm II and his wife, the Empress Augusta Victoria, on the obverse, and an inscription congratulating them on their anniversary on the reverse. The piece is undated , most likely circa 1911. Shows some wear, else very good. Three pieces.
