JOSEPH DUNNINGER
(1892 - 1975) "The Amazing Dunninger", American magician, one of the most famous and proficient mentalists of all time, a pioneer performer of magic on radio and television and close friend and associate of Harry Houdini. An annotated book from his library, The God Juggernaut and Hinduism in India by Jeremiah Zimmerman (New York: Fleming H. Ravell Co., 1914), 319pp. lg. 8vo., bearing several holograph notes on separate pages within by Dunninger, such as: "...St. Mogur, a village in Southern Mysopre, a great festival is celebrated each year in honor of a female divinity names Tipimma..." and more. Not signed, but bearing his ornate bookplate on inside cover. Signed and inscribed by the author, JEREMIAH ZIMMERMAN, on the first free endpaper. A few newsclippings affixed to front and back interior covers, inscription page bears offsetting, interior pages clean. Very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
