JONATHAN TRUMBULL
(1710 - 1785) Governor of Connecticut during the American Revolution who was critical in providing necessary supplies to the Continental Army. A.D.S. "Jon:th Trumble, Assist." 1p. 4to. Hartford, May 16, 1743, a warrant "...to attach the goods or Estate of Joshua Douglass of Sd Colchister to the Value of three pounds, Lawfull [sic] money & for want of take the Body of the Sd Douglas...". Rough margins, light toning, small loss not affecting text, else very good. Framed with a portrait of Trumbull.
