JOHN TYLER
(1790 - 1862) Tenth President of the United States following the death of Harrison, annexed Texas, and remained loyal to Virginia following its secession. Partly-printed D.S. "J. Tyler" as President, 1p. folio parchment, Washington, Dec. 9, 1841, a scallop-top ship's paper for the bark Peri under the command of Elihu Russell, Jr. of New Bedford, 190 tons deadweight, no guns and navigated by 23 men. Co-signed by DANIEL WEBSTER as Secretary of State. With intact paper seal. Usual folds, very light foxing, else fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
