In part: "I was so pleased to hear from you. So was John. He says he is going to write to you when he has 'peace' - whatever he means by that. He certainly missed you at Xmas & new year but hope to see you in the summer...John spent Xmas at the cottage, & we had our celebrating about 9 or 10 Jan. but we haven't been to the Pantomime yet. I have managed to get seats for the big Panto at the Empire. Leila & John are very excited...". Very good.
