"John Jay" as Governor of New York, 1p. folio, Albany, Aug. 20, 1798, a partly-printed appointment of John McKesson, Jr. to serve as a Lieutenant in a company of militia in New York City commanded by Lt. Col. William Boyd. With paper and wax seal. Folds, else fine condition.
