(1737 - 1793) American Revolutionary politician and first signer of the Declaration of Independence, President of the Continantal Congress and two-time Governor of Massachusetts. War date D.S. "John Hancock" as Governor of Massachusetts, 1p. oblong legal folio, Boston, Oct. 18, 1781, the bottom portion of an official document, signed one day before Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown, Va. (Oct. 19, 1781). Countersigned by Secretary JOHN AVERY. Some chipping to margins and uneven toning, usual folds, very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
