JOHN GOTTI (1940 - 2002) Dapper American gangster who won the nickname 'The Teflon Don' following his many acquittals, headed the Gambino Family following the murder of Paul Castellano, finally convicted and jailed on the testimony of his one-time friend, Sammy 'The Bull' Gravano. A collection of Items from one of Gotti's famous Fourth of July celebrations in Ozone Park, Queens. Included us a red brimmed trucker hat with text reading 'THANKS JOHN' with fireworks shown at right, signed by Gotti; a matchbox imprinted with Gotti's name; a napkin also imprinted with his name; and a pin bearing a photograph of Gotti at a party at his headquarters, the Bergin Hunt & Fish Club. The hat is lightly soiled, otherwise near fine. Consigned by the owner of the largest and most prestigious crime collection in the world.
