JOHN F. KENNEDY
(1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the United States. Kennedy faced-down the Khrushchev during the Cuban Missile Crisis, re-invigorated NASA, and signed the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Assassinated November 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswald. His volume Profiles in Courage (New York: Harper & Row, 1961) Inaugural Edition, xxxiii, 266pp. 8vo., boldly signed on the half title. Lacking dust jacket, light wear to covers and bumping to corners, overall very good. Ex: Charles Hamilton Auctions, from the collection of Dr. John Lattimer.
