JOHN F. KENNEDY ASSASSINATION
A nice lot of six autograph pieces signed by prominent players in the aftermath of Kennedy's assassination on Nov. 22, 1963, includes: TOM SHIRES, medical doctor who operated on John Connally and Lee Harvey Oswald, T.L.S. 1p. 4to., Dallas, Oct. 24, 1967, to John Lattimer thanking him for a letter; District Attorney HENRY WADE, T.L.S. on his official letterhead, 1p. 4to. Dallas, Mar. 26, 1964, thanking the correspondent for a reference; RUTH PAINE, friend of Marina Oswald who was living with her at the time of the assassination, A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo., Irving, Nov. 22, 1965, sending signature cards [not included] and adding: "...This day is a very painful one for me...But that is a feeling I share with most Americans. Time, usually more merciful, has not lessened my personal sense of grief..."; J. C. CARSON, President of the Texas School Book Depository, T.L.S. 2pp. 4to., Dallas, Nov. 29, 1965, in part: "...It is a simple matter to send you copies of our letterhead. But for you, we will make an exception. On one of these there will be the signature of R. S. Truly...it was Mr. Truly who reported to the police that Oswald was missing and he gave them a description of Oswald which led them to find him and, unfortunately, death for Officer Tippitt who first tried to arrest Oswald..."; REV. OSCAR L. HUBER, priest who administered last rites to Kennedy, fine content and oft-published typed D.S. 3pp. 4to., detailing the President's last moments; and Senator JOHN L. MCCLENNAN Typed D.S. 3pp. 4to., the eulogy for Kennedy, with fine content. Along with two fine content typed D.S.'s of John Connally, bearing autopen signatures. Eight pieces in all, very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
