491. JOHN F. KENNEDY PUBLIC WORKS BILL SIGNING PEN A superb Presidential relic, a fountain pen with a clear barrel, imprinted "The President - The White House", used by Kennedy to sign "The Public Works Acceleration Act 87-658", 87th Congress, S. 2965, on Sept. 14, 1962. Framed with a printed copy of the first page of the Act, which reads in part: "...to provide authority to accelerate public works programs by Federal and State and local bodies...The President is authorized to initiate and accelerate in eligible areas those Federal public works projects which have been authorized by Congress...by allocating funds appropriated to carry out this section...". Handsome matted in dark blue and framed in a black frame. Ex: Irwin Ungar. Fine condition, not examined out of frame. $800 - 1,200
