JOHN DUNLAP
(1747-1812) American patriot and printer of the Declaration of Independence. Very rare manuscript D.S. signed twice, 1p. oblong folio (27" x 11"), Nov. 1, 1799, an indenture in which Dunlap and his wife Elizabeth grant to Adam Clay a "...piece of ground situate in the distance of Eighty feet Westward from the Delaware Ninth Street and on the South side of a seventeen feet wide Alley or Court...". Signed twice by Dunlap at conclusion, as well as by his wife ELIZABETH DUNLAP. Folds, very light staining to margins, overall very good condition. Dunlap is rare in any form.
