JEWISH WORK PERMIT FOR FALLERSLEBEN FROM 1828
Manuscript D.S. 4pp. legal folio, Fallerslaben, May 14, 1828, a work permit for Jewish tinsmith Johann Karl Wilhelm Freiberg, who has given proof that he is permitted to ply his trade in Fallersleben, and now "...is permitted to work without a helper in the counties of Fallersleben, Bonenreich, Ebstorff, Gifthorn, Knesebeck, Luchow...He is not allowed to sell anything or trade anything, or to have someone else use his concession. This permission must be presented to the necessary authorities before it can be used...". A condition of Mr. Freiberg follows, his age, size, etc. On the verso of the document are stamps of the various towns in which he is permitted to work. Condition just good, with fold tears, loss at middle and staining.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
