(Japanese Flag A World War II Japanese national flag, about 30in x 26in, cotton, with several Japanese characters written in black ink at upper left. Although untranslated, it was common for Japanese airmen and soldiers to write their names or prayers on this type of flag and wear it as a sash during battle. A few stains and a small tear at one corner, otherwise very good.
