Description:

JACQUELINE KENNEDY
(1929 - 1994) First Lady and wife of John F. Kennedy, thirty-fifth President of the United States. Fine association I.S.P. 8" x 10" color by Cecil Stoughton, shows the first family stepping out of church on a bright spring day. Boldly inscribed at bottom margin to Beatrice Tripp, the nurse who tended the late Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.: "For Beatrice Tripp - with deep appreciation Jacqueline Kennedy". Tripp (1921-2010) was a registered nurse and mother of ten who served as a private duty nurse for Ambassador Kennedy for eleven years. Emulsion loss to bottom margin just clear of inscription, otherwise very good.
