Description:

JACQUELINE KENNEDY'S JEWELRY BOX
A nice relic from the First Lady, a gold-toned filigree jewelry box with clear glass top that no doubt sat upon her dresser. The delicate jewelry box is just over 2" in height and 2 1/2" in diameter. According to the original auction listing from Goldberg's April 2004 sale, where our consignor purchased the item, it was given by Kennedy to Clara Richardson in December 1963 when Mrs. Kennedy was moving out of the White House so the Johnsons could move in. Mrs. Richardson was a White House maid from 1959 to 1979. Fine condition. Ex: John Lattimer Collection.
