JACK RUBY
(1911 - 1967) Dallas nightclub owner who shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald following Oswald's assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Partly printed D.S., a Western Union telegram, 1p., oblong 8vo., April 24, 1961, a correspondence between Ruby and a nightclub performer named Robin Rose. Below the typed message from Rose, Ruby writes a holographic reply in pencil: "Confirming your wire of April 24, 1961-- TEN weeks at 150% per wk with options Starting May 8th, 1961". Boldly signed, "Jack Ruby". Age toned with minor folds, else fine.
