JACK RUBY
(1911 - 1967) Dallas nightclub owner who shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald following Oswald's assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Partly printed D.S., 1p., 4to., Dallas, September 16, 1960, an American Federation of Musicians contract between Jack Ruby and a bandleader named Richard Bono. The contract calls for Bernet and his band to play in Ruby's Sovereign Club for a period of weeks in exchange for payment. Boldly signed, "Jack Ruby" in blue ink. Minor folds, else fine.
