JACK RUBY
(1911 - 1967) Dallas nightclub owner who shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald following Oswald's assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Partly printed D.S., 1p., 4to., Dallas, June 9, 1959, a management contract between Jack Ruby and a performer named James Dotson. The contract, titled Jack Ruby Associates, calls for Ruby to represent Dotson for a period of five years in exchange for 25 percent of Dotson's earnings. Boldly signed, "Jack Ruby", and countersigned by JAMES DOTSON, both in blue ink. Minor folds, else fine.
