(1892 - 1973) British author known especially for his works The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Fine signed book, The Corpus, Epinal, Erfurt and Leyden Glossaries by W. M. Lindsay, F.B.A. (London: The Philosophical Society, Oxford Press, 1921), first edition, in original wraps. Boldly signed on the first free endpaper. Provenance: From the Loome Theological Booksellers upon the disbursement of a private library of J. R. R. Tolkien. Book in just good condition, with spine virtually missing on paper wraps and foxing to signature page, but signature remains attractive and clear in this unusual and desirable piece.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
