A set of four pieces, including YEHUDI MENUHIN, I.S.P. 8" x 10" b/w, a chest-up view of Menhuin with his violin, dated 1957, matted and framed; EDWARD JOHNSON, signature on a program for Tosca at the Metropolitan Opera (1950), matted and framed together with a S.P. of the lead from that production; LJUBA WELITCH, S.P. 5 x 3 1/4", b/w; RENATA TEBALDI, I.S.P. 3 1/2" x 5 1/4" b/w, in costume as Violetta in La Traviata, matted and framed with a Metropolitan Opera program for the same production in 1957; JEAN DE RESZKE, signed inscription in French on a 5 1/2" x 3 1/4" slip, matted and framed with an original program for Charles Gounod's Romeo et Juliette at the Metropolitan Opera, Nov. 19, 1894 (in which he starred as Romeo), and a wonderful chromo-lithograph portrait of de Reszke as Romeo. One horizontal crease affects text and signature, else very good. Together four pieces.
