IDENTIFIED WORLD WAR I IRON CROSS AND RELATED SOLDIER'S PAPERWORK A great, rare grouping of a Prussian soldier Erhard Oswald's wartime medals and papers, includes his Iron Cross with original black and white ribbon, a war service medal with ribbon, an unidentified pinback medal, Oswald's draft notice calling him up in 1911 and affixed within his "Kriegsbeorderung", his "Entlassungsichein" dated Mar. 4, 1918, his "Militarpak des Gefreiten" filled-out and showing his being attached to a field artillery regiment, and his well-worn "Soldbuch" from his service with the 13th Field Artillery Reg. bearing many notes within (untranslated), up until 1918. A fine lot worthy of research. $300 - 400
