Excellent A.Q.S. from her patriotic song "Battle Hymn of the Republic", penned on a 9" x 3" sheet, in full: "'Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord' Julia Ward Howe  September 1908". Slightly toned and soiled with a few tiny marginal chips, folds at right, mounted on a heavy cardboard with a transmittal A.L.S. "J.W.H.", 1p. 8vo., St. Louis, [Sept., 1908], in full: "I have written the line of the Battle Hymn on a longer slip of paper, with name and date in full. J.W.H.". $2,000 - 3,000
