HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR'S PASSPORT
Holocaust survivor's passport, 32pp. sm. 8vo., issued to Michael Erlanger, a World War I veteran, in Nuremberg on Feb. 1, 1938. On Feb. 13, the U.S. Consul in Nuremberg issued Erlanger an immigration visa and on May 3, in preparation for his flight, Erlanger exchanged 60 reichsmarks for $24.00. The next day, Erlanger boarded a vessel in Hamburg bound for America.
