Description:

HO CHI MINH
(1890 - 1969) Vietnamese Communist leader and the principal force behind the Vietnamese struggle against French colonial rule and American intervention, and whose name became synonymous with the North Vietnamese and the Viet Cong. Superb and excessively rare S.P. "Ho Chi Minh", 9" x 6" b/w, a candid photo showing Minh crouching while surrounded by young children during a visit to the Soviet Union, boldly signed in blue ink. Fine. From the caretaker of Leonid Brezhnev's dacha outside Moscow.
