HERMANN GORING'S CALLING CARD
Hermann Goring's personal calling card as "Reichsmarshall des Grossdeutschen Reiches", 3 3/4" x 2 1/2", given by him to Nuremburg guard John S. Carver. On verso Carver pens a note to a friend mentioning that his camp had been moved to Rosenheim and inviting him to visit, signing "Jack". One edge of the card is chipped, else very good. Carver was on duty the night Goring committed suicide. Ex: noted collector and historian Ben Swearingen, with his original letter describing the item.
