HERMANN GORING DINNER FORK
Hermann Goring silver-plated dinner fork, 8 in. long with four tines, and bearing Goring's crest at the bottom: an upraised armored arm holding a ring. Maker- marked on the reverse ‘W M F 40' along with their hallmark. Light oxidation, else very good. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the Gettysburg Museum of History, in part: ‘...The following item was deaccessioned from the museum's collection. Deaccession number 03.HGCA3.21...Part of a set known as ‘The formal set' used in his home at Obersalzberg...Taken by a U.S. soldier during WWII. This fork has all the correct hallmarks...was part of the Mark Griffith collection...'. Dr. Mark D. Griffith is the author of the reference book ‘Collector's Guide to Liberated Adolf Hitler Memorabilia'.

Due to complications from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will ship with USPS Priority Mail only if the buyer submits their request to us in writing and accepts responsibility for delayed shipments. Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
