HERBERT C. HOOVER
(1874-1964) 31st President of the United States whose attempts to reverse the course of the Great Depression led to his defeat at the polls by Franklin D. Roosevelt. Superb S.P. 14" x 10" b/w, a formal portrait of Hoover with six diplomats standing outside of the White House. Hoover, at middle, holds his Stetson and is flanked by the diplomats, who sign: C. R. NIXON, ANDREW JARVIS, PETER G. SIKOKIS and three others not identified by us. Signatures a bit light but still legible, else light edge wear, very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
