This Fund [is] to be known as the Heller Keller Endowment Fund to further this work in New Jersey. I, with the help of my life long friend and beloved teacher, Mrs. Anne Sullivan Macy, have been holding meetings in churches and public halls in 20 different cities…President Coolidge, whom I met a short while ago, has consented to be Honorary President of the American Foundation and is strongly sympathetic to the whole movement….'. Folds, else fine. Calvin Coolidge met his future wife Grace Anna Goodhue in 1904 when she was a teacher of deaf children at the Clarke School for the Deaf. The two were married the following year. 1925 was a busy year for the compassionate couple, who attended more than a dozen philanthropic events in all areas of the country.
