HEINRICH KODRE
(1899 - 1977) German military officer awarded the Knights Cross, he is most remembered for his active involvement in the July 20th plot to overthrow Hitler and seize the government. Kodre was successful in rounding-up Nazi leaders in Vienna, and successfully avoided the noose by claiming that he had been only following von Stauffenberg's orders. Lot of two signed items "Kodre", the first an A.D.S. 4pp. 4to., Vienna, Apr. 16, 1937, multiple calculations and spreadsheets in pencil concerning transportation requirements, signed with rank at conclusion. Sold with a related mimeographed document, 2pp. 4to., [1937], signed "Kodre" and a full page of his notes on maneuvers. Also present are 25+ pages of mimeographed notes concerning combat response, tactics, etc.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
