HEINRICH HIMMLER
(1900 - 1945) Hitler's Chief of the Gestapo placed in charge of security and responsible for the construction and operation of extermination camps. He chose suicide rather than face a hangman's noose at Nuremburg. Rare partly-printed D.S. "H. Himmler" with lithographed signature of Adolf Hitler, 1p. folio, Berchtesgaden, Oct. 18, 1938, a promotion issued to Albert Loose to the rank of Oberstleutnant in the Schutzpolizei. Fine condition, matted and framed. The Schutzpolizei were divided into the Schutzpolizei des Reiches (cities and large towns), Schutzpolizei der Gemeinden (smaller towns), and the Kasernierte Polizei (police reserve and riot surpression). Loose was Commander of the Stuttgart police from June 1, 1939 to March 1, 1940. This is the first time we have encountered such an appointment.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
