Description:

HEER SIGNALS BRANCH 'CRUSHER' VISOR CAP
Scarce, well-used Heer Signals Branch 'crusher' visor cap. The cap has a 'feldgrau' body with forest green sideband, piped in yellow celleon at top and on either side of the sideband indicating a Signals department affiliation. A silver bullion and wire aluminum eagle with green backing is sewn at front, above a similarly constructed set of oak leaves and cockade. Flexible black leather visor shows the typical surface crazing yet completely intact and remaining supple. Within, the cap bears a light brown rayon lining soiled from use, along with a brown ersatz leather sweatband. The celluloid sweat protector remains largely intact, though the maker's name beneath is indistinct, apparently reading 'Lettel'. There are a few pulls to the bullion insignia, but no moth or other damage appears anywhere to the outside of the body of the cap which overall is very good.
