Description: HARRY S. TRUMAN
(1884-1972) Thirty-third President of the United States who led the country in the closing days of World War II and through the re-building of Europe under the Marshall Plan and the Korean War. T.L.S. on his personal letterhead, 1p. 4to., Jan. 8, 1968, to Mrs. Caskie Colley of Kansas City, the widow of Federal Judge John Caskie Collet whom Truman appointed in 1947. In part: "...I was most highly pleased to have your beautiful Holiday greeting...It is always good to hear from old friends...". With original envelope, fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
