Description:

HANS GLOBKE
(1898-1973) German Director of the Office for Jewish Affairs in the Nazi Ministry of the Interior, whose legal annotations on Nuremberg Race Laws provided no objection to the discrimination against Jews, thus setting the path to the Holocaust. Controversially served as the Chief of Staff of the German Chancellery in West Germany after the war, establishing the intelligence service and overseeing all matters of national security. His bold blue ink signature ‘Dr. Hans Globke', cut from a document and loosely mounted to a 160gm 8.5 x 11 in. card bearing his printed portrait. Fine.
