Description:

HANS FRANK
(1900 - 1946) Nazi occupational Governor of Poland partly responsible for the genocide perpetrated there. Early, fine content T.L.S. on his legal letterhead, 1p. 4to., Munich, Jan. 18, 1928 to fellow murderer Philipp Bouhler. In part: '...In the matter of blasphemy, I have now submitted a statement to the public prosecutor's office on the indictment. First of all, I referred the public prosecutor's office to the report, which is attached to the court file, namely by Rosenberg and Dinter, and also the existence of the requirements of § 166 of the R.St.G.B. [is] disputed and an application was made not to open the main proceedings but to discontinue the proceedings. I will give you more information when the occasion arises. I ask that as soon as you receive notification from the court or from the public prosecutor's office, please get in touch immediately...' Very good. Artur Dinter (1876-1948) founded the Geistchristliche Religionsgemeinschaft ('Spiritual Christian Religion Community'). Its goal was to 'de-Judaicize' Christian teaching. The Old Testament was dismissed as Jewish. Dinter's special course promptly led to conflict with Hitler. Rosenberg was equally anti-church, as evidenced by his writings. We suspect that the blasphemy charges had been leveled against these two men. Philipp Bouhler (1889-1945) was a Nazi war criminal who supervised Hitler's euthanasia program which ordered the "mercy killings" of thousands of retarded, deformed and mentally ill Germans. At the time of this letter, he was business manager of the NSDAP.
