GREETING CARD COLLECTION FROM THE ESTATE OF A FIELD MARSHAL
An interesting assemblage of material from Field Marshal Viktor Kondraty'evich Kharchenko (b. 1911), who participated in the battles of Moscow, Stalingrad and Kursk during World War II. The archive contains over 70 pieces, mainly greeting cards, and also letters to Kharchenko from marshals and generals and heads of departments, such as: PAVEL BATITSKY, SERGEI BELOV, IVAN KRYLOV, OLEG KOSHEVOY, PAVEL ROTMISTROV, SERGEI SCHTEMENKO, KOMAROVSKY, IVAN YAKUBOVSKY, LEONOV, ANDREI GRECHKO, KONSTANTIN SERGEYEV, VALENTIN VARENNIKOV. Also included are signatures of some of the instigators of the 1991 Soviet coup attempt, including: ZAKHAROV, ALEXEI EPISHEV, KIRILL MOSKALENKO (known for arresting Beria and later shooting him), and more. Very good condition, a great dealer's lot.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
