GOTTLOB BERGER
(1896 - 1975) German SS general, Chief of Staff for the military SS and head of the SS main leadership office. Convicted in the Nuremberg trials for his role in the murder of European Jews and sentenced to 25 years in prison. Fine content A.L.S. on his letterhead, 2pp. 4to., Gerstetten, Aug. 4, 1974, in German. In part: "...I will give you a picture that the entire country of America does not have. It is also my last picture. The Grossmufti of Jerusalem Mohammed Aurin el Hussein. The pope of the mosque is known as a holy man at the foundation at the foundation of the Moslem Division 'Handschar'...". Some marginal wear, else very good .
