The scroll behind the sword bears a quote from Hitler, reading ‘German soldier behind you there is a home / that will never let you down. The Fuhrer on 9/30/42.' The bold text at the bottom of the card reads ‘War Christmas 1942'; WITH a German Easter card, 6 x 4 in., depicting a German soldier holding onto a large Easter egg painted red and featuring a white disc with a black swastika at the center, with three smaller eggs laid before it. The Easter bunny scurries away from the soldier giving one last glance behind him; WITH four paper Reichsmarks, including two twenty notes and a five note and a reproduction of a one Reichsmark note used by members of the Wehrmacht. Eight pieces, very good.
