GEORGI K. ZHUKOV
(1896 - 1974) Soviet field marshal, perhaps the greatest general of World War II, he survived crushing poverty and Stalin's purges to command the Russian armies at the monumental battles of Moscow and Kursk, and in the taking of Berlin. Fine, rare D.S. "G. Zhukov", 24mo., a maroon leather-bound identity book issued to General Major Vladimirsky, Chief of Staff of the Baltic Military Division and picturing him in uniform, Jan. 24, 1955, signed by Zhukov at lower-right. With official ink seal, a most uncommon form of signed document.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer.
