GEORGE V & MARY OF TECK (1865 - 1936) King of England, son of Edward VII and husband of Mary of Teck who led England through the dark days of World War I and in the agreement with the Irish Free State. A pair of stunning S.P.'s, each measuring 9" x 13" (sight) b/w, two official royal portraits by W. & D. Downey, and showing the couple in formal regalia in full-length poses. Each photo has the original cream mat bearing blind-embossed royal seal at top. George signs at bottom of the mat: "George R.I. 1912", while Mary signs on the image: "Mary 1912". Simply framed in gilt wood. Truly extraordinary, and in fine condition. Not examined out of frame. Two pieces. $800 - 1,000
