333. GEORGE MCCLELLAN ELECTION HANDBILLS Scarce pair of 1864 election handbills promoting the ticket of George McClellan and George Pendleton, the first 5 1/2" x 12", printed in Boston by J. E. Farwell & Co. and promoting other local candidates, bears a large vignette at top showing McClellan, an eagle, mortars, soldiers, a fort, etc. Tear at top repaired on verso, a few marginal dings, still very good. The second is 2 5/8" x 9", a simpler designed headed "DEMOCRATIC TICKET", possibly issued in New York. A bit soiled, with mounting strip on verso. Two pieces. $200 - 300
