"George R." as King, 2pp. legal folio, London, Jan. 30, 1797 to the Mayor of London ordering that a collection for the poor be undertaken: "...Being informed that the Poorer Sort of Our Subjects...do suffer great Hardships at this time...Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of each Parish to collect the Benevolence of charitable and well disposed People at their respective Dwellings...". First page bears moderate dust soiling, else very good. $300 - 400
