GEORGE II (1683 - 1760) King of England (1727 - 1760) and military leader whose forces were successful in India, Canada and at sea. Fine manuscript D.S. "George R", 1p. 4to., Court of St. James, Dec. 6, 1727, a pension payment, in part: "...Pay or cause to be paid out of any of our treasure or revenue...unto Jollyvet Widow of Evert. Jollyvet...two hundred pounds...". Blind-embossed seals at left margin, two edge tears at left, very good condition. Matted in crimson and set into a carved gilt frame, not examined out of frame.
