GEORGE II
(1683 - 1760) King of England (1727 - 1760) and military leader whose forces were successful in India, Canada and at sea. D.S. "George R" (signed twice, once on recto and then verso), 2pp. folio, [London], April 22, 1741, being a "Warrant for deducting one day's Pay Yearly" for the "...Use of Our Royal Hospital near Chelsea; Our Will and Pleasure is That the same deduction of One day's Pay be every year as formerly drawn out of the Payment directed by this Establishment of Our Forces and applyed [sic] towards the better maintenance of such Super annuated and Disabled Officers & Soldiers as shall be provided from them...". The verso, details the "Regulation of Subsistence to be paid to every Officer and Soldier on the foregoing Establishment" noting the "Subsistence Per Diem Horse Guards Grandr. Guards". One horizontal fold with minor partial separation, light wear and toning to margins, else very good condition.

Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
