I had never quit a fight in my life. But the realities of too little money and Governor Reagan's great lead in delegates caused me to accept the inevitability of his nomination. We fought a good, strong fight in principles...I am grateful for your support...". He signs: "George Bush" adding "Thanks" beneath. Fine condition.
