GEORGE CROOK
(1830 - 1890) Union major general and Indian fighter who was forced to retreat by Sioux and Cheyenne led by Crazy Horse at Rosebud Creek, denying Custer reinforcements at Little Big Horn. Crook was later engaged in the search for Geronimo. Bold signature on a small card adding "Maj. Genl. U.S.A.". Very good.
