GEORGE CLINTON
(1739 - 1812) Vice President of the United States (1805-12) and Continental Congressman who opposed ratification of the Constitution. Partly-printed D.S. "Geo: Clinton" as governor, 1p. oblong folio, New York, July 8, 1790, a land grant issued to James Scaits for a 600 acre tract in Camillus Township in Montgomery County. With intact paper and wax seal affixed by string at the bottom margin, just to the left of Clinton's bold signature. Minor fold separations, very light foxing, else very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
