Important D.S. 3pp. 4to., Temecula, Apr. 12, 1944, a contract between literary representative Thayer Hobson & Co. and Gardner allowing Thayer Hobson to act as his general representative, execute contracts in his name, sets forth a royalty schedule, and so on. Boldly signed at conclusion, as well as initialed on each page, witnessed by Gardner's secretary and future wife Jean Bethell.
