Description:

Fritz Sauckel 1894-1946 Nazi chief of slave labor recruitment who seized over five million workers and kept them under the vilest conditions. Tried, convicted and hanged at Nuremburg. Rare A.L.S. 1p. sm. folio [Nuremburg, 1946], pencil, in german, to American Major Kelly in charge of the prisoners. Sauckel apparently requests that his wife and son be contacted, and in whole signs his full name twice and his last name two additional times. Light toning, otherwise fine.
