Description:

Interesting and graphic anti-communist, pro-German publication in French, 18 1/2"" x 28 1/4"" fully unfolded. The front page presents an image of Red Army soldiers on parade, with a large hammer and sickle within a red star and the title: ""Under the Sickle and Hammer"". Unfolding the sheet presents a quote from Lenin: ""We have the absolute duty to prepare the revolutionary war, and this will be done as soon as the material conditions required for this purpose are created."" This page further claims that German soldiers and their allies have witnessed the true effect of communist domination in Europe; unfolding the sheet again reveals a derogatory presentation of photos of five Slavic men, with twelve additional photos showing the starvation, homelessness, riots, famine, torture and anti-religious vandalism resulting from Communist rule. These images are juxtaposed against an article from the American News magazine ""Time"", explaining the American alliance with Stalin's Russia against Nazi Germany. Unfolding the sheet once more to its full size reveals a large image of a weeping woman superimposed over a photo-montage depicting heaps of slaughtered men-women and children, with the caption: ""The misery of the masses, the annihilation of intelligence, in the Soviet paradise Communist agitation in all European states. The Bolshevik bloody terror in the invaded countries. This shows the danger that Europe has preserved!"" At right appear five additional photos showing scenes of communist-inspired riots and strife in Hungary, France, Spain, Bulgaria and Germany. When re-folded to its smallest size, the final page depicts a haughty Wehrmacht soldier over a photo of Soviet prisoners of war, with the caption: ""Victory for Germany, Victory for Europe"". Shows original folds with a 14"" split thereto when fully opened, with additional smaller splits to these folds and some edge wear, else very good.
